Endure to the End

Reading: Matthew 24:13; James 1:12

Devotional: "He who endures to the end shall be saved." Salvation is a gift received by faith, but the Christian life is a race requiring endurance. You've been given a gift, don't drop it before crossing the finish line.

The enemy will do everything to make you fumble: discouragement, distraction, disappointment, and defeat. But those who persevere through trials will receive the crown. This isn't about earning salvation through works, it's free; it's about faithfully running the race Christ has set before you. Life will bring great sufferings against you; sickness, loss, betrayal, and pain. But these temporary afflictions cannot compare to the eternal weight of glory awaiting you. Blessed are those who endure.

One day, you'll stand before Jesus and say, "I made it. By Your grace, I finished." Keep running. The finish line is real, and the crown is waiting.

Exercise Nearness Daily Until "the" Race Ends.

Reflection: How bad do you want to hear, "well done good and faithful servant?"

Such a timely reminder! ENDURE! Our battles, our struggles and our disappointments are all temporary! Lord help us to remain FOCUSED on the finish line!
